Silent Movement IV - In Outline

The series "Silent Movement" was created within one process-oriented cycle. At the beginning of each working process, I do not know where it will lead or what will ultimately emerge. While working, I follow my inner impulses. Often, unconscious emotional states reveal themselves only at the end of the process, becoming clear to me through the final reflection on the completed works. "Silent Movement IV - In Outline" is a radically reduced composition of body, line and space to their elemental expression. It is reduced abstract composition of fine red lines suggesting fragmented body forms and organic structures. The deliberate emptiness of the space intensifies the tension between presence and fragment. This artwork focuses on the power of contour and the essence of form.
